According to the sources, the White House is all set to release the text of the back-to school speech of the US President Barack Obama that has caused quite a stir and has triggered a wide array of speculations and controversies among a certain section of parents and pundits who are conservative to the core and by nature.
The text of the 18 minute long speech that was delivered by the US president himself will be posted on the Website so that the people of the nation can go through the entire text before it is transmitted through the Internet to the school children. The controversial speech is slated to hit the Internet on Tuesday. The conservatives have reportedly expressed their anxiety over the President’s speech, by saying that the president could use the opportunity to press a partisan political agenda.
“Thinking about my kids in school having to listen to that just really upsets me. I am an American. And they are Americans, and I don’t feel that’s OK. I feel very scared to be in this country with our leadership right now,” said suburban Colorado mother, Shanneen Barron. On the contrary, the Secretary of Education, Arne Duncan had reportedly said on Sunday that those parents who are threatening their children, barring them from going to school in order to avoid Obama’s speech are just being “silly”.
